Spring has finally come even in Tuscany, and we want to suggest a series of events and activities to join in during Easter weekend on 1st and 2nd April.

Montepulciano is the flawless destination to welcome this season and spend a holiday that is relaxing, engaging and exciting at the same time.

Easter Festival, came to its fourth edition, it will take place from March 29th to April 15th in different venues, located in Montepulciano and in other Tuscan towns.

This is a festival dedicated to classical music, born in 2015 from an idea by Eleonora Contucci, an opera singer belonging to one of the oldest families in Montepulciano.

The Festival allows you to completely dip yourself in the wonders of Tuscany, since the concerts take place in stunning venues surrounded by natural masterpieces. We suggest to attend these concerts to have the chance to listen to excellent musicians performing in historical palaces and prestigious theaters, not only during the Easter weekend but also afterwards.

The festival begins on March 29th in Rome with a preview concert (only by invitation), on 31st March the concert will be in Sarteano at the Teatro Comunale degli Arrischianti (with a program including music by Bach, Handel and Vivaldi, among others), then on Sunday Easter in Chiusi, at the Concattedrale di San Secondiano and on Monday 2nd April at the Chiesa del Gesù in Montepulciano. For information about tickets and for the full program we invite you to visit the website www.festivaldipasqua.it.

ArtEArti is the name of the fair dedicated to artistic craftsmanship and local food and wine delicacies that can be tasted during the event.

The fair takes place from 30th March to 2nd April in the enchanting setting of the Fortress of Montepulciano and includes 3 sections: on the ground floor of the Fortress, which will host the craft market, on the first floor, where you can visit the exhibition of artistic crafts and a part dedicated to tastings and free art workshops for children.

Admission is free and the opening hours are 10:00 am – 8:00 pm.

Lake of Montepulciano Festival

Are you wondering what to do on easter Monday? We suggest a stop at the Visitor Center of the Lake of Montepulciano, where on Monday 2nd April many events are planned in the occasion of this popular festival of the Lake.

Here you can follow excursions on the lake in a solar-powered boat, join guided itineraries and buy products at the farmers’ market. You can reach the Lake Visitor Center with a free shuttle bus, for further details contact the organizers at 0578767343 or visit www.amicilagodimontepulciano.it.
